Lilian is a Registered Counsellor with over 20 years of experience across correctional rehabilitation, healthcare, community mental health and private sectors.

Having worked with clients from all walks of life, she understands the struggles people face trying to navigate difficult emotions, conflictual relationships, dilemmas, expectations and responsibilities at work or at home. She finds it deeply meaningful to support and journey with clients during challenges phases in life, helping them gain new insights and skills to cope more effectively.

Her counselling approach is person-centred, being attuned to client’s needs in each session and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to heal and grow. She incorporates strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Brainspotting, and Somatic Therapy, where relevant to client’s needs and paced according to client’s readiness.

Lilian actively reflects on her work to ensure safety, progress and high standards of care. This is done collaboratively with the client to ensure they remain in control of the therapeutic process and ultimately how they live their life.
