Are you performing at work? Or just putting on a performance?

You may recognize yourself in some of the high-functioning professionals I work with:

  • The Overachiever: You’re exhausted from meeting your own high standards. Your perfectionism and tendency to people-please make it hard to set boundaries. And years of overfunctioning have led to chronic stress and burnout.
  • The Imposter: You project confidence at work but feel like an imposter on the inside. Public speaking triggers performance anxiety or even panic attacks. Perhaps you’re an expatriate or returnee struggling to adapt to a different work culture, or a woman trying to hold your own in a male-dominated environment.
  • The Performer: You’re competent and capable at work, where the rules are clear. But your personal life is a different story. It’s hard for you to turn off “work mode,” drop the mask, and build the deep, lasting connections you actually want.

My clients often tell me that I’m not your usual therapist. My approach is shaped by a law degree from Oxford, over a decade in the UK, a career in Singapore’s public sector, and my own experiences in therapy. These experiences instilled in me a commitment to finding what really works: science, structure and results. Sessions with me are practical, direct and often involve a shared laugh.

I work by helping you to understand yourself better, rapidly process past setbacks, and become the version of yourself you know you can be. I’ll also teach you effective techniques (not just deep breathing!) to regulate your emotions and quickly let go of daily stressors, so that you can become more resilient and confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges. Nothing makes me happier than when a client no longer needs to see me.
