Yun Yi is a dedicated counsellor with years of clinical experience supporting a culturally diverse range of adult and teenage clients going through major life transitions, grief, and trauma. A Registered Counsellor and Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), she brings clinical depth, compassion, and sensitivity into her work.
While she recognises that post-traumatic stress is common, she firmly believes that post-traumatic growth is equally possible with the right support. Having worked extensively with clients navigating trauma, major loss, attachment wounds, and suicidality, she has witnessed firsthand the body’s innate capacity for self-regulation and healing. This informs her practice, where she integrates embodied and experiential elements alongside traditional talk therapy.
Her integrative therapeutic approach intuitively weaves together Somatic Experiencing, Gestalt therapy, parts work, attachment-based therapy, CBT, and mindfulness. Known for her gentle and attuned presence, she creates a safe and grounded space where clients feel supported and understood. Clients who arrive feeling overwhelmed or stuck often leave sessions calmer, more present, and empowered.
