Laura is an integrative psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience supporting adults, couples, and families. She specializes in trauma, complex trauma, and developmental trauma, and has extensive experience working with individuals navigating the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE), attachment injuries, emotional dysregulation, and major life transitions.
Having lived in Singapore for more than two decades, Laura brings a deep understanding of the local context and the rich diversity of cultural values, beliefs, and norms that shape her clients’ lived experience. Her therapeutic foundation is rooted in a salutogenic approach, emphasizing strengths, inner resources, resilience, and each person’s inherent capacity for growth and healing.
Laura works integratively, drawing from a range of evidence based approaches as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Positive Psychology, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI), an evidence-informed modality grounded in memory reconsolidation. She tailors treatment plans with care and precision, ensuring they remain aligned with each client’s unique history, needs, and goals.
Laura warmly welcomes clients from all walks of life. She holds particular sensitivity to the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and those from minority or marginalized communities, offering a therapeutic space that is safe, respectful, affirming, and free of judgment. Her style is collaborative, attuned, and grounded in empathy and cultural humility, supporting clients in feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
In addition to her clinical work, Laura is an experienced clinical supervisor, mentoring trainee counsellors and psychotherapists as they develop their professional identity, clinical competence, and ethical grounding. Fluent in English and Italian, she works comfortably across cultures and has supported clients from a broad range of nationalities and backgrounds.
